Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Markus Kangye, disclosed this on Friday in Abuja while briefing journalists on recent military activities across the country. According to Kangye, the suspect is currently in custody and undergoing interrogation.

Kangye also revealed that scores of Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists—comprising adult males, women, and children—voluntarily surrendered between June 6 and 11, due to the military’s intensified operations under Operation Hadin Kai.
